We spent the 2018 Easter Holiday at the Unforgettable Aquablu Hotel, Sharm El Sheikh. A holiday that is best described as “Heaven on Earth”.
Sharm el-Sheikh is an Egyptian resort town between the desert of the Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea. It's known for its sheltered sandy beaches, clear waters and coral reefs.
We arrived Sharm El Sheikh gigantic airport on a hot Saturday Morning. The Airport was massive and lovely. We waited for 15 minutes for the hotel shuttle to arrive to take us to the breath taking Aquablu hotel. It took us 45 minutes to arrive at the hotel.
The reception was very beautiful and busy. We checked into an interconnecting room with the children. They surprised us with plenty of fruits and drinks on the bed.
It was an all inclusive hotel (payment for the hotel entails feeding, accommodation and full access to the aqua pack). It has 8 Adult's swimming pools, 3 children's pool and 64 different water slides. Aqua Blu has full-service spa and private beach access
Featuring balconies with views of the landscaped gardens and lagoons, the air-conditioned rooms at Blu come with a satellite TV and a minibar.
Italian, Mediterranean, and Asian cuisine was served at Blu Sharm’s buffet-style restaurants. In the evening, guests could enjoy a drink in the sports bar. Aqua Sharm had a well-equipped gym. Guests could cross the lagoon on a pedal boat or play a game of tennis or minigolf.
A shuttle to the private beach of Albatros Resort was offered. It featured sun-loungers with umbrellas and water sports. The staff at Aqua Blu Sharm El Sheikh could arrange a shuttle to the beach outside the resort.
The best part of the holiday was the restaurants. There were countless number of dishes ranging from assorted fish, chicken , desserts, salads, grills, sandwiches, pasta, rice, fruit salad, and much more than you than comprehend.
The water slides were amazing , covering 62 slides at that resort was not a piece of cake. Only the children were able to enjoy all of them.
Other exciting activities were; Beach volley ball, Evening entertainment, Kids' club, Entertainment staff, Mini golf, Cycling, Library, Ping-pong, Pool table, Playground, Game room, Tennis court
I highly recommend this resort for your next holiday. Truly it felt like a different world entirely. I promise you it will be a holiday to remember.
